Scott was my mining partner in Colorado and we worked together daily drilling and blasting driving raises and drifts nearly 2,000 feet underground in Colorado. He was always a stand up guy, and devoted Dad to a new baby. Scott never wanted to be the last guy out of the lunchroom, and you could always count on him as a partner in a dangerous occupation. My best wishes and condolences to Scott's family.

4/24/09 I just learned today of Scott's passing. I have not seen Scott since the summer of 1970, when we graduated from high school. Still I feel such a great loss for our world. He was so special...joyful and gifted. I am grateful to have known him.
